Wow, I haven't written in here since April? Sheesh. Sorry guys.
So whats up with me?
School semester ended, I finished all my commissions.
Slots are WIDE open, and commissions are first come first serve, so get one while you can.

I made some Premade Characters that are up for purchase, as you may or may not have noticed.
I know that keeping an eye on my stuff can get cluttered sometimes with how much I put out, but, neverfear, my premades and adoptables can always be found here:

That's my commissions account, so feel free to watch that too if you wanna.

And, now that I finally have some time to work on my own stuff, Im starting a new... Program, if you can even call it that.
Basically, I'm going to be making a whole buttload of adoptables. Thats the plan, currently, anyway.
I would like to call this a conservation program that aims to educate and facilitate conservation towards animals, but it is more aptly to be described as an "Awareness" program.. Which is exactly what it is. While searching for inspiration of what sort of adoprables to make, I came across several (over 50...) Unique, interesting, and beautiful creatures, most of which I had never heard of before, while looking through some of the old favorites. I was so taken aback that I'd never seen or heard of these particularly breathtaking species that it occurred to me that many other people might not have as well.

So, I've decided to devote my adoptables to rare/unique creatures, though I am not sure, and cannot guarantee that they're endangered or not- which is why it isn't exactly a conservation program.. It's more of a, "HEY, LOOK AT THIS THING. IT EXISTS. WOW. LOOK AT IT. ITS ALIVE IN OUR WORLD, ON OUR PLANET, LETS HELP IT NOT DIE, BECAUSE IT'S PRETTY" program. I will be including links to the visual references and inspirations that convinced me to draw that particular species, as well as some basic information about the species ive chosen.

Some of the animals may or may not be pests in their respective habitats, I honestly have no idea, but they were pretty and I decided to share with my watchers.

So, why adoptables?

I want to practice my hand at drawing new, interesting things, most of them digitally. As most of you know, I still do most of my sketching largely by hand with graphite. I would like to make myself comfortable drawing linework on the computer, and using new (to me) programs like Sai and Clip Studio Paint, both of which I have barely touched.

This process will not be quick by any means, it could take me over a year or more to do this, and I am not setting a time limit for myself. It may even come to a halt once the school year starts back up in august, so it's all up in the air right now, play by ear.

I will say I have two poses ready to go for customization/coloring, etc, and you can expect to see some new adoptables in a few days.
As of yet, I am not sure how I will gender them. Some species would be great to see with male and female, others, not so much. Currently, I will be doing one species for a male set, and another species for a female set.

Perhaps if people show interest in seeing those same species of the opposite sex, I can be persuaded to do that!

So what two species are up first?
;) You'll just have to wait and see.
